Welcome to the DNA Sequencing facility
The DNA Sequencing Lab is a self-sufficient University of Bergen facility
housed in, and administrated by MBI.
The sequencing facility offers DNA sequencing, fragment analysis and plasmid
preparation for users from the University of Bergen, Haukeland University
Hospital and several external institutes, companies and independent research groups.
We have set up an mailinglist for the users of The DNA Sequencing Lab. To join, click on the heading Mailinglist in the right hand column.

Seqlab will be closed this Wednesday.
The staff at Seqlab will attend an EcoOnline course this Wednesday and hence the Seqlab will be closed.

Change in BigDye Prices for 2011
Prices for BigDye change according to manufactures price.
Please find below the prices for the sequencing facility services in 2011. This will take effect from 01.07.11.
Sequencing:
Unifob, University and users with a link to an educational establishment
Single samples 43,00 kr/rxn
per sample in a full tray (96 samples) 33,00 kr/rxn
Printout 2,00 kr/sheet
Big Dye 570kr/(80 ul)
Fragment Analysis:
(User must provide their own size standard)
